Belgium is still on track!

The 2023 WEEE figures confirm that our country meets the EU recovery and recycling targets for electrical and electronic waste. And even better: 100% of the collected volumes include processing results.

This progress is built on:
🔹 Data from the producer responsibility organisation Recupel
🔹 Data from PV CYCLE (for solar panels)
🔹 Reports from companies submitting directly via BeWeee.be

Since 2023, all reporting parties are obliged to either:

✅ Upload their own verified processing figures
or
✅ Confirm compliance with the minimum standards — in which case the standard values are applied.

📊 That means transparency, traceability, and policy-ready figures.

Belgium proves that clear rules and smart digital tools go hand in hand.
