1.<\/h2>\n

A total of 188,444 tonnes<\/strong> of WEEE were reported* throughout 2025. This is the highest reported figure since BeWeee was founded in 2017.<\/p>\n

Of the 188,444 tonnes of reported WEEE*, 49,495<\/strong> tonnes were reported directly through BeWeee.<\/p>\n

Most of the reported EEE* consists of electro-appliances. But the share of photovoltaic solar panels varies every year. For instance, 51,965 tonnes of solar panels were put on the market in 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Belgium, we have reached the milestone of 66.20%<\/strong> (excluding PV).<\/p>\n

The total collection rate (OOM\/POM) including solar panels for the year 2025 is 53.07%<\/strong>. This figure is slightly higher<\/strong> than in 2024.<\/p>\n

In the coming years, BeWeee will continue to strive for the highest possible reporting rate in order to keep reaching the 65% collection rate. Or perhaps even keep exceeding it!
